Role Definition
Performs penetration Testing Identify the application security bugs prepare the report support for an agile Secure software development life cycle.
Responsibilities
Execute the penetration testing on the applications (web pen testing mobile pentesting)
Prepare the report and share with the development team
Writing codes to enhance the testing experience.
Skill Descriptors
Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques.
Good understanding on OWASP standards
ability to accurately analyse situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
Level Working Knowledge:
Applies an assigned technique for critical thinking in a decision-making process.
OWASP top10 knowledge
burpsuite postman Sqlmap tools hands on
Basic knowledge in secure SDLC
basic programming knowledge (Python/Java)
Recognizes clarifies and prioritizes concerns.
Assists in assessing risks benefits and consideration of alternatives.
Effective Communications:
o Delivers helpful feedback that focuses on behaviors without offending the recipient.
o Listens to feedback without defensiveness and uses it for own communication effectiveness.
o Makes oral presentations and writes reports needed for own work.
