Job Summary

The Senior Director Network Development Strategic & Core Floater is a dynamic high-performing sales leader responsible for driving Aledades growth by supporting both our Strategic Accounts team and Core Market initiatives. This highly flexible leadership role primarily covers and advances sales strategies and complex deal execution within strategic accounts while also serving as a key floater with the ability to seamlessly step in and manage Core Market teams or book of business as needed.

The ideal candidate is a subject matter expert in value-based care (VBC) sales able to forge strong relationships negotiate and close deals across diverse provider organizations. As a senior player-coach this individual will ensure business continuity by covering open territories or leading teams during vacancies leaves or peak demand periods while also mentoring and coaching colleagues across the Growth organization.

Primary Duties:

Strategic Accounts Coverage & Deal Execution (60%):

    • Serve as primary coverage for key strategic accounts supporting relationship management and advancing Aledades value-based care partnership initiatives.
    • Develop and execute consultative outreach strategies to expand Aledades presence in high-value target segments.
    • Lead complex multi-stakeholder contract negotiations ensuring alignment to Aledades growth goals and mission.

Core Market Team Leadership (as needed 25%):

    • Temporarily lead Core Market network development teams or manage books of business during team member absences transitions or high-volume periods.
    • Ensure operational consistency maintain pipeline momentum and drive toward existing growth targets in assigned coverage areas.

Cross-functional Collaboration & Mentorship (10%):

    • Mentor and coach junior sales/network development professionals to foster talent growth and share subject matter expertise.
    • Collaborate with the Strategic Accounts Core Market and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless handoffs share best practices and support overall team performance.

Reporting CRM and Process Improvement (5%):

    • Diligently capture activities updates and insights in Salesforce CRM and associated platforms.
    • Identify workflow/process gaps in both Strategic and Core environments; recommend or implement improvements to enhance team agility and effectiveness.

Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree in business healthcare or a related field or equivalent relevant experience
    • 12 years of progressive experience in healthcare sales business development or network development ideally with a strong record of success in Value-Based Care (VBC) population health management or accountable care partnerships
    • Proven ability to manage large complex deals and lead high-performing teams
    • Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and digital sales/engagement platforms
    • Ability and willingness to travel up to 75% as needed

Preferred knowledge skills and/or abilities:

    • Proven track record of success as a sales leader exemplified by national rankings (multiple year Presidents Club Winner etc.)
    • Salesforce Expertise
    • Google Suite of Products
    • Strong knowledge of the U.S. primary care landscape including Community Health Centers and large multisite organizations
    • Demonstrated agility and flexibility; thrives in fast-moving ambiguous or dynamic coverage environments
    • Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills with a consultative and empathetic approach
    • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills; able to drive outcomes while covering multiple teams or markets
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
    • Experience coaching mentoring or onboarding sales professionals a plus
    • Collaborative spirit with a high degree of professionalism and positivity

Physical Requirements:

    • Sitting for prolonged periods of time. Extensive use of computers and keyboard. Occasional walking and lifting may be required.
    • Ability to travel up to 75%
