Job Description


This position serves as the Michigan Department of Transportations (MDOTs) statewide specialist to support the Departments drainage and utilities software programs. This position is in charge of components and templates for custom drainage and utilities design libraries and the coordination and development of drainage and utilities software training programs for staff and engineering consultant organizations.

The Salary listed above is a range that reflects the minimum rate through the maximum rate of the Transportation Engineer Licensed Specialist 13 position.

Required Education and Experience

Education
Possession of a bachelor of science degree in engineering.

Possession of a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering preferred.

Experience
Four years of professional experience equivalent to a Transportation Engineer including two years equivalent to a Transportation Engineer P11 or one year equivalent to a Transportation Engineer 12 or Transportation Engineer Licensed 12.
