Software Development Manager, Artificial General Intelligence (AGI)

This is a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of AI building and deploying large-scale solutions based on Generative AI and Large Language Models.

As a Software Development Manager you will lead multiple teams of software engineers language engineers and researchers ensuring innovation technical excellence and timely delivery.

You will be a key person in executing the vision and roadmap for Amazons conversational AI crafting products that delight Amazons customers.

Key job responsibilities
- Lead AI Engineering in model integration optimization large-scale cloud services and SW life-cycle management.
- Drive alignment and execution of key business goals in speech and audio synthesis.
- Define technology stack guide and review key architectural decisions.
- Hire exceptional individuals and mentor team members in reaching their career goals.

- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing certification and livesite operations
- Experience in engineering team management
- Experience in engineering
- Experience in leading the definition and development of multi tier web services
- Experience working directly within engineering teams
- Experience designing or architecting (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
- Experience partnering with product and program management teams

- Experience in communicating with users other technical teams and senior leadership to collect requirements describe software product features technical designs and product strategy
- Experience in recruiting hiring mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills and make them more effective product software engineers
