Facility Overview

This position is with a 221-bed acute care hospital serving surrounding communities. The facility is a Level II Trauma Center offering comprehensive services including cardiovascular care (open-heart surgery interventional cardiology electrophysiology and cardiac rehabilitation) orthopedic and spine care robotic surgery inpatient rehabilitation and full imaging services.

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced and compassionate ICU Registered Nurse to join a collaborative critical care team. The ICU RN provides advanced patient care to critically ill patients requiring close monitoring frequent assessments and autonomous clinical decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing evaluations

• Monitor critical vital signs and intervene in life-threatening situations

• Deliver safe effective patient care using sound clinical judgment

• Advocate for patients as part of an interdisciplinary care team

• Educate patients and families regarding medications procedures and treatments

• Provide emotional support to patients and families throughout hospitalization

Unit Details

• ICU Beds: 16

• Patient Ratios: 1:1 and 1:2

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU RN experience in an acute care setting

• Active Florida RN license or approved multistate (compact) RN license

  • Compact license holders must obtain Florida licensure within 60 days of relocation

• RN Diploma or Associate Degree required; BSN preferred

Required Certifications (Timeline-Based):

• NIH Stroke Scale within 30 days of start

• BLS within 30 days of start

• ACLS within 6 months of start

• PALS within 6 months of start

Compensation & Differentials

• Salary Range:

  • $33.77/hr (entry)

  • $38.28/hr (5 years experience)

  • $42.86/hr (10 years experience)

  • $49.06/hr (17 years experience)

• Shift Differentials:

  • Nights: $4.50/hr

  • Weekends: $1.50/hr

Sign-On Bonus (Available through Dec 2025; subject to re-evaluation thereafter)

• Day Shift: $15000

• Night Shift: $20000

Relocation Assistance: Available on a case-by-case basis
