Role Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and wellorganized Student Assistant to join our Global People Development In this role you will support key initiatives within leadership and organizational development contributing to programs that strengthen organizational growth and employee engagement across a global company.

This opportunity is ideal for someone interested in pursuing a career within People/Talent Development or HR. You will gain handson experience with a wide range of organizational and leadership topics participate in the development and execution of leadership and talent programs and learn the processes that enable effective peoples development in a dynamic international environment.

  • Location: Copenhagen Denmark
  • Working hours: 15h-20h per week (we are of course flexible around exams)
  • Contract type: Direct employment

What can you expect as a Student Assistant at Scandinavian Tobacco Group Your primary tasks will be:

  • Organizing events workshops and training programs: helping to coordinate and organize training sessions or workshops incl. logistical tasks like scheduling preparing materials or managing sign up
  • Project assistance: Supporting the People Development team with specific projects such as leader/talent programs employees surveys or succession planning
  • Developing content and material for development: Building and creating learning material and presentations for the different programs and initiatives
  • Driving our SharePoint site content and communication to ensure employees and leaders are informed and updated on the People Development agenda and initiatives
  • Contribute to the planning implementation and ongoing coordination of development initiatives especially supporting the execution of our Student Assistant Program.
  • Ad hoc development tasks when time allows for this

Your areas of knowledge and expertise (that matters the most for this role):

The role is a learning opportunity and while some experience is a plus passion for peoples development and willingness to grow are key.

  • You need to be enrolled in a bachelors program or in the first year of a masters degree.
  • Have strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks prioritize effectively and stay organized in a fastpaced environment.
  • Have eye for detail and quality ensuring accuracy in administrative tasks correctly prepared training materials and professional communication through thorough proofreading.
  • Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills when interacting with colleagues and employees.
  • Can craft and develop engaging and informative presentations.
  • Show a strong ability to collaborate with teams and build positive relationships.
  • Can collect analyze and report on data and feel comfortable working with data analysis.
  • Be techsavvy able to adapt to new software or tools and experienced in working with SharePoint.
  • Exhibits strong timemanagement skills handling deadlines while juggling other adhoc tasks.
  • Takes initiative and excels at driving projects forward with various stakeholders involved.
  • Has solid skills in Microsoft applications such as SharePoint and Teams as well as Microsoft Office (Word PowerPoint Excel).
  • Fluent in English (Written and Spoken)
