Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Events Manager to join the Events by Benugo Team.
Salary: 45000 - 55000 per annum depending on experience plus an annual bonus
Contract: Full Time Permanent
Working pattern: 5 over 7 days including unsociable hours due to late event finishes.
About the Senior Events Manager role:
- To execute manage and lead all events across Event By Benugo Sites with the assistance of the Events Manager(s)
- To manage catering logistics including event file handling event briefing sheet and service plans
- To manage orders of equipment beverages and staffing
- To ensure all areas are safe clean tidy and secure after an event
- Building a strong relationship with other onsite events teams working towards growing our share of events
- To ensure all enquiries and client feedback are managed professionally and in a timely manner
- To continuously work towards improving sales and service
- To support office administrator in administration tasks such as payroll and closing the week procedures and deputise in their absence
- Provide appropriate guidance and support to all direct reports
- Leading and motivating the team through ongoing evaluations listening training and mentoring
- Financial and budget management including forecasting cost control and forward planning
About the ideal candidate:
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
- Enthusiastic about working in a dynamic and fast paced environment
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent communicator with the ability to motivate and inspire
- Flexibility to work on events as and when required
- Passion for food and wine is a plus!
