Job Summary

So whats the job really about

Picture this. You pop in to help Mrs Smith start her morning. You support her out of bed help her choose something nice to wear then sit down together for a cuppa and a chat while she enjoys her breakfast. Later you may visit Mr Jones to help him with his medication support him with a refreshing shower and make sure he has a hot nutritious meal ready. There could be a light tidy around the house or even a trip to the shops for a bit of fresh air and company.

No two days are ever the same and thats what makes this role so special.

But its about so much more than practical support. You become a familiar face a trusted companion someone your clients genuinely look forward to seeing. You listen you laugh together and you help people feel safe valued and confident in their own homes supporting them to stay independent for as long as possible.

Qualifications :

What you will bring

You will help clients stay happy healthy and independent in the comfort of their own homes. Your role may include:

  • Providing companionship and emotional support
  • Assisting with daily tasks such as preparing meals and light household duties
  • Supporting clients to stay connected by accompanying them to shops appointments or outings
  • Encouraging clients to enjoy their hobbies and maintain social connections
  • Offering personal care support including help with washing dressing or bathing
