SW Test Engineer

As a QA Functional Analyst you will be part of a team that is responsible for testing and validating the quality of Visas advanced transfer applications and platform. You will work closely with developers product managers and other QA engineers to ensure that the products meet the functional performance and security requirements. You will also contribute to the test automation framework and tools and participate in the continuous improvement of the testing processes and best practices.

What we are looking for 

QA Functional Analystwill be responsible for designing developing and executing the tests of our advanced transfer applications and platform. 

You will need to learn and understand our products at a detailed level and work with the team (primarily made up of developers product managers and other QA engineers) to ship high-quality products or features every two weeks.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager. 

Qualifications :

• At least 2 years of experience in functional testing
• Prior experience in a leadership role
• Fluent English and Spanish.

• Familiarity with Agile frameworks
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors

• Strong planning and decision-making abilities.
• Capability to communicate ideas and plans clearly and build support.
• Adaptability to deal with the unknown and adjust plans accordingly.
• Strong accountability for individual and team outcomes.
• Identify document and track software defects using JIRA and other defect tracking tools.
• Knowledge and experience using tools like Newman and Zephyr for test case execution.
• Knowledge and experience in backend testing.
• Certifications in software testing such as ISTQB are a plus.
• Ability to hold others (e.g. QA Product Development Infrastructure etc.) accountable for what is expected of them as per agreed plan process or best practices.
• Familiarity of cloud platforms and services such as AWS (Amazon Web Services) Azure or Google Cloud Platform (Preferred).
• Experience using Postman for API testing (Mandatory).

• JIRA SQL Postman Zephyr git GCP
