We are seeking an Intake Paralegal for our Phoenix office.
About the job:
This is a fast-paced client-focused role within a collaborative team environment. As an Intake Paralegal you will be the first point of contact for potential new clients handling calls and in-person interactions with empathy and professionalism. The position involves conducting intake interviews addressing client concerns coordinating with paralegals and investigators and performing related administrative tasks to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
Schedule:
- Tuesday Friday: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
- Saturday: 3:00 PM 11:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Answer and manage incoming calls from potential clients promptly and professionally.
- Conduct client intake interviews over the phone and in person with accuracy and compassion.
- Address client questions and concerns; escalate matters to paralegals or investigators as needed.
- Maintain detailed and organized records in the case management system.
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive first impression of the firm.
- Assist with administrative tasks related to intake and case setup.
Required Qualifications:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
- 13 years of experience in a law firm environment.
- Minimum 1 year as an intake paralegal (personal injury experience strongly preferred).
- Proficiency in computer applications and administrative processes.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate professionally with clients attorneys and staff both in person and over the phone.
