Key Responsibilities (What Youll Do)
Write smart engaging and timely content for
Pitch fresh editorial ideas in the home holiday and lifestyle space for both print and digital
Research write produce and/or update 23 stories per day for the siteincluding gift guides crafts decor galleries and product roundupswith a sharp voice-y tone and SEO-optimized packaging
Collaborate with the art photo and craft styling teams to create dynamic visual content
Assist editors with production tasks such as building print stories online image sourcing research and fact-checking
Contribute to multi-platform brand initiatives including video social media events and membership programs
Support home decor and lifestyle content on TikTok and Instagram
Ensure all content is inclusive and reflects the diversity of our audience
Qualifications (What Were Looking For)
Minimum of 1 year of post-grad experience writing lifestyle content
Excellent writing and editorial skills with a sharp eye for detail
Deep understanding of the Good Housekeeping brand and its audience
Strong interest in home decor holiday entertaining and lifestyle trends
Snappy clear writing style with a creative flair
Familiarity with SEO and e-commerce best practices
Experience with CMS platforms; Photoshop skills a plus
Exceptionally organized and capable of juggling multiple deadlines
Collaborative proactive and excited to grow
Hybrid role based in NYC with 4 days in-office required

The base salary for this role is between $60000 - $61200. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors such as: transferable skills work experience business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
