Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder to join our production this role you will be responsible for fusing metals using various welding processes to manufacture high-quality components. Responsibilities Include:
- Read and interpret blueprints technical drawings and measurements to plan layout.
- Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments (MIG TIG or Stick as required).
- Set up components for welding according to specifications (e.g. cutting material clamping and tacking).
- Inspect welded joints and surfaces for defects or hidden cracks to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety or production.
- Follow all institutional and safety regulations (OSHA) at all times.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Welder with a strong portfolio of relevant work.
- Technical knowledge of various welding techniques and metallurgy.
- Ability to read and understand complex blueprints and mechanical drawings.
- Proficiency in using electrical or manual tools (saws squares calipers etc.).
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety.
- Professional certification (e.g. AWS) is highly preferred.
