Job Summary

We are seeking a junior analyst to review and assess external Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) and incident reporting relevant to DOE missions and locations. This role supports a newly formed analytic cell and works closely with operations centers DOE sites and external partners. This position is dependent on being fully funded by the government.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain persistent searches across multiple systems to identify SARs of interest to DOE.
  • Review search results assess relevance and document findings.
  • Establish and maintain communication with state and local fusion centers near DOE facilities.
  • Draft summaries of external SARs for periodic reporting.
  • Contribute to analytic products where external SARs support broader assessments.

Required Qualifications

  • Masters degree with 1 year of relevant experience or Bachelors degree with 3 years of relevant experience
  • Active DOE Q or DOD TS clearance required
  • Strong writing and analytical skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage recurring monitoring tasks
  • Ability to collaborate with operational and analytic teams

Location: This is a full-time onsite position in Washington DC 20024 USA. This position is dependent on being fully funded by the government.

Salary: Salaries are determined based on several factors including external market data internal equity and the candidates related knowledge skills and abilities for the position.
