Role description:
Arcadis seeksaSenior Major Projects Directorto join our North America Major Projects team to help pursue and lead execution of our major projects across the U.S aligning with the overall Global and North America strategy on Major Projects.
This role reports into the North America Major Projects Director part of the Arcadis Mobility Global Business Area team.
The Project Director will ensure projects are managed and delivered profitably monitor project risks and implement technical innovations to help our contracting partners win and deliver Design-Build projects. The Project Director will oversee the project team(s) and be responsible for both the tender phase and the detailed design phase. Responsibilities include overseeing the success management and mentoring of the practice staff (project managers) to achieve operating metrics including financial performance strategy development delivering high-quality projects and work products technology leadership and client/account development. Responsible for health and safety stewardship cross-selling business development strategies compliance with company policies and procedures and training right candidate possesses an elevated level of intellectual professional and interpersonal agility and flexibility.
As part of the Major Projects team work closely with global partners in delivering projects collaboratively.
This position requires proactive engagement with multiple business areas to integrate diverse expertise and ensure successful delivery of complex projects.
Role accountabilities:
The Project Director will supervise Project Managers/Design Managers on Design-Build/Progressive Design Build/P3 projects to guide and mentor them to achieve project goals.

We offer nine paid holidays and 20 days PTO that accrue per salary range for this position is $250000 - $325000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors such as experience education budget internal equity project and location.
