What to expect.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Provide assessment and therapeutic services from the perspective of Yoga and Eastern Meditative techniques to individual patients. Provide/lead group Yoga-based therapy as assigned.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients treatment team and program staff.
- Develop adapt and use Yoga movement breathwork and meditation practices that address the needs of specialized psychiatric patient populations.
- Develop treatment plans to reduce or manage patients symptoms improve functioning and help with attitude in relation to their health conditions
- Communicate and complete clinical documentation according to program standards.
- Complete and maintain written documentation of initial patient assessment and ongoing progress through discharge in compliance with program standards for quality and timeliness.
- Keep treatment team apprised of family matters and other client information that impact treatment. Reports pertinent patient observations to treatment team.
- May participate in comprehensive diagnostic and treatment planning conferences for each patient.

What we need from you.
- Current knowledge of Yoga theory and practice in the field of psychosocial dysfunction obtained through certification as a Yoga Therapist through International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT).
- At least 2 years of therapeutic experience and practice.
- Must demonstrate maintenance of professional knowledge and skills through attendance at professional meetings workshops courses and in-service sessions.
- Must possess strong interpersonal communication and analytical skills.
