About you:

Youre an experienced senior recruiter who has the ability to bring your ideas to life. Youre creative and look at situations with an open mind but can navigate a complex large organization with ease. Youre agile and adaptable but work with precision to ensure we deliver top-notch customer experiences always. Youre not intimidated by fact you embrace it. You also have:

  • A Bachelors Degree or Masters with substantial in-country recruitment experience specifically in China
  • 6 years of highly productive and progressive corporate and/or search firm recruiting experience with candidate generation in a highly complex and competitive market
  • 5 years of experience advising and influencing senior leadership. Experience of guiding executive leaders through challenging global search processes with an emphasis on securing talent from different industries to their own
  • 6 years experience of recruiting senior candidates into the areas of engineering commercial and corporate roles which could be from an inhouse role or executive-level search partner
  • EVP project experience promoting companys brands
  • Strong project management skills; capable of developing and executing upon thoughtful project/recruiting strategies and adapting those as required
  • Disciplined agile creative and accountable with a passion for innovation
  • You understand the importance of driving ATS use and data integrity. Workday experience is desirable but not essential


What Youll Do
We are seeking an experienced Senior Recruiter to own the full life-cycle recruitment process for designated client groups within Stanley Black & Decker will be based in either Suzhou or Shanghai and will independently deliver against recruiting goals and work closely with the wider Asia Pacific TA team to drive excellence in full cycle of Hiring and TA related projects. Our Talent Acquisition team identifies top talent for a diverse range of positions from inception through to completion. You will collaborate with business hiring managers and HR colleagues and will execute against the recruitment strategy to attract and assess ideal talent for our organization. We are looking for someone that will seek to deliver an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience and will be a trusted partner to our stakeholders.

Specifically you will:

  • Independently deliver end to end recruiting for China based complex engineering and commercial roles up to Director level.
  • Have the ability to source from a range of various industries to identify complimentary skills and capabilities
  • Apply strategic thought in designing and executing sourcing strategies for complex and senior roles
  • Build pipelines of highly qualified and interested candidates by proactively approaching and recruiting top level talent from a range of industry sectors.
  • Work directly with hiring managers to provide market intelligence and guidance on interviewing and the recruitment process
  • Ensure that Workday is updated and that candidates are correctly processed through the system as required
  • Engage 3rd party suppliers when required and proactively manage and monitor their performance
  • Participate & Support local and regional TA projects and ad hoc assignments
  • Support the rollout of the global EVP plus drive the WeChat implementation and promotion
