Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced EMC SAN Administrator to manage maintain and optimize enterprise storage infrastructure. The role involves administering EMC storage platforms ensuring high availability performance data protection and supporting business-critical applications in a 24x7 environment.

Key Responsibilities

Administer configure and support EMC storage systems (e.g. VMAX/PowerMax VNX Unity Isilon/PowerScale XtremIO).
Manage SAN infrastructure including zoning masking and LUN provisioning.
Perform storage provisioning expansion migration and decommissioning activities.
Monitor storage performance capacity and health; proactively resolve issues.
Implement and manage replication snapshots and disaster recovery solutions (SRDF SnapVX RecoverPoint etc.).
Support backup and recovery operations in coordination with backup teams (e.g. NetWorker Avamar Data Domain).
Work closely with OS virtualization database and application teams for storage integration.
Troubleshoot SAN connectivity issues involving Fibre Channel switches (Cisco/Brocade).
Participate in storage upgrades firmware updates and patching activities.
Maintain documentation SOPs and compliance standards.
Provide on-call support and participate in incident and change management processes.
