Job Summary

Role: Senior Software Engineer (Kotlin Bazel & gRPC)

Location: Mountain View CA (Hybrid - 3 to 4 days a week onsite)

Job Type: W2 Contract

Contract length: 1 year

Responsibilities:

Design and implement backend services using Kotlin and gRPC for a sophisticated grid planning tool
Develop and maintain PostgreSQL database schemas and queries for optimal performance

Requirements:

Strong proficiency in Kotlin with experience building production-grade backend services
Experience with gRPC protocol buffers and API design for distributed systems
Familiarity with Bazel build system and modern CI/CD practices
Working knowledge of PostgreSQL and database optimization techniques
Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services and infrastructure
