Equipment Finance Attorney

We are seeking a transactional attorney to join a growing Equipment Finance Team with a national presence. This team represents financial institutions private investment firms lenders borrowers lessors and lessees in a broad range of equipment finance transactions including direct loans leases securitizations credit facilities and purchase and sale transactions with a focus on transportation equipment such as aircraft and rail.

This role provides an opportunity to take ownership of complex high-value transactions work directly with experienced colleagues and gain exposure to both domestic and cross-border deals. You will advise clients on structuring and documenting transactions help manage deal flow and contribute to the continued growth of a dynamic practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in a variety of equipment finance transactions including direct loans leases securitizations credit facilities and purchase and sale agreements
• Focus on transactions involving transportation equipment including aircraft and rail
• Draft review and negotiate transaction documents and related agreements
• Provide practical business-oriented advice to clients on deal structuring and documentation
• Collaborate with colleagues across the practice and mentor junior attorneys as needed
• Manage multiple matters efficiently while ensuring high-quality work product

What Were Looking For:

• Significant transactional experience preferably in equipment finance
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills
• Comfort managing complex transactions and working with diverse client types including financial institutions investment firms and corporate borrowers
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong academic credentials and the ability to thrive in a collaborative fast-paced environment
