Job Summary
What Faculty Mentors Do:
- Guide cohorts of nurses through their transformative journey to become board-certified nurse coaches
- Facilitate small group mentoring sessions that integrate theory with practical application
- Provide individualized feedback on coaching skill development and practice integration
- Model integrative nursing principles and therapeutic presence
- Support students in developing their unique coaching voice and style
- Foster a learning community grounded in integrative nursing values
- Assess student competency and progress
Qualifications:
- Current active RN or APRN license
- Board certification as a Nurse Coach (HWNC-BC or NC-BC)
- Advanced degree (MSN DNP PhD or EdD preferred)
- Demonstrated teaching or mentoring experience
- Strong understanding of integrative nursing and holistic health principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility with time commitment for scheduling mentoring sessions
- Reliable technology access and comfort with virtual learning platforms
