Role Summary

We are seeking a proactive and well-connected Liaison Officer Renewable Energy to manage coordination with government departments statutory authorities DISCOMs and local bodies. The role is critical in ensuring timely approvals regulatory clearances and smooth resolution of operational and compliance-related matters for our solar and wind projects.

Key Responsibilities

Liaise with government departments statutory authorities utilities and local bodies for approvals permissions and compliances related to solar and wind projects.
Coordinate with internal project legal and finance teams as well as external consultants to ensure timely statutory clearances.
Follow up on applications submissions approvals and ongoing regulatory matters.
Act as the primary point of contact with DISCOMs and electricity departments for issues related to billing payments notices and operational coordination.
Support the corporate office on regulatory correspondence stakeholder coordination and compliance tracking.
Maintain accurate records of approvals correspondence filings and compliance status.
Assist in addressing legal regulatory and payment-related issues by coordinating between departments and internal teams.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelors degree in Engineering Law Management or a related discipline.
36 years of experience in liaisoning regulatory coordination or government relations preferably in the renewable energy or infrastructure sector.
Good working knowledge of renewable energy regulations approvals and utility coordination processes.
Experience dealing with DISCOMs electricity departments and statutory authorities.
Strong follow-up skills attention to detail and ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
Good communication and coordination skills both verbal and written.
Willingness to travel locally as required for department coordination.
