Job Summary

RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals Nursing Homes Home care and Community care.
We are hiring a CNM2 /Clinical Nurse Specialist Radiotherapy for a Hospital in Galway Ireland.

This role is on a permanent part time basis working 20 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

  • The development and provision of nursing services in the radiotherapy department will be coordinated managed and led by the Clinical Nurse Manager 2/Clinical Nurse Specialist.
  • Clinical and professional leadership within the nursing team will be the main responsibility of the Clinical Nurse Manager 2/Clinical Nurse Specialist. Through the integration coordination and management of activities and resources within the clinical area
  • Exhibit a high level of ability and competency to support the efficient effective and supportive treatment of patients.
  • Candidate will be essential in educating patients and their families about their treatment plan care plan any side effects and how to manage them.


Requirements

  • Current NMBI general registration in the General Division
  • Preferable qualifications include a bachelors degree managerial training and/or postgraduate training in radiotherapy or oncology.
  • 5 years of nursing experience overall including 2-3 years of experience in radiotherapy oncology or a similar field
  • Possess demonstrated managerial clinical leadership and customer service skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities Proactive planning with efficient resource coordination
  • Workplace adaptability.

Required Skills:
