TheGlobal CommodityManageris responsible forconducting purchasing activities to support sourcingcontractand supplier management activities in line with departmental strategy andobjectives. As a leaderyou willprovide technical guidance to the team for successful execution ofcommodity strategyfor ourindirect or directcommoditiesas well asleadthe development of new products processes standards or operational plans.You willalsobe responsible forleading a team fostering employee development and training driving performance management andmaintainingan efficient organizational structure.
WhatYoullDo (Responsibilities):
Develop and execute a comprehensive Business Planandcommodity strategy
Lead business plan/tactics to reach overall global targets on a day-to-day basis
Lead global teams in allregionsin developing commodity strategies and sourcing recommendations for specified commodity considering regional specifics this also includes early Supplier Engagement and Strategic Sourcing
Overseemonitorand coach employees indifferent locationsand build effective global team
Collaborate with EngineeringLogistics Supply ChainManufacturing LegalCorporateDevelopmentand other internal partners to develop procurement strategies clarify prerequisites and to drive cost reduction
Analyze and applyappropriate toolsi.e.cost models benchmarking global competitive sourcing value chain analysis supplier negotiations engineering change cost containment technical cost reduction part/system reuse etc.
Responsible for managing the overall procurement activities development of sourcing strategy negotiation of contracts and execution of budgetfromcradle to grave
Develop and execute capacity assessment of components to match GM demand with supplier capacity with a focus on compliance requirements (FTAs IRA as applicable)
Provide technicaland business processguidance to the team for successful execution of programs
Lead on the development of new products processes standards or operational plans.
Support for the organizations business strategies with a direct impact on business and function overall results.

Yours Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):
Bachelors Degree
10 years of experience inglobalpurchasingorprocurement
Proventrack recordofdirectlyleadingteamswith a minimum of4-5peopledrivingresults and personalaccountabilitywithoneself andteam
Demonstrated NegotiationSupplierManagement Team Orientation Informative Communication and Analytical Thinking Skills
Strategic Orientationwillingness to learn adapt & be agile comfort in challenging normsdealing with ambiguity
Strong interpersonal skills withdemonstratedability to lead diverse/cross-functional teams as well as mentor motivate and elicit work output from peers and other team members
Ability to travel10-20%of the time Domestically Internationally
What Can Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications):
Experience Developingand NegotiatingContracts
Knowledge of SAP
Developed skillset with respect to data management tools: Power BI Excel TMS AI etc.
Finance and Cost Engineering experience
Strategic planning and execution
Negotiation skills
