Our market leader Big Pharma client is in search of their new Pipeline Medical Science Liaison to join their Medical Affairs Team. This field-based (60-70%) role will focus on representation of the companys pre-launch products towards HCPs.
The positions main responsibilities include:
- Depending on time to product launch/successful reimbursement provide insights and collaborate closely with the product teams (LBT HUB) to help optimize medical therapy or brand strategy.
- Seek active scientific debate in accordance with local law and regulations.
- Meet with relevant KOLs and researchers on a regular basis and gather relevant local information and insights on therapy areas (incl. Competitor landscape) and medical and scientific needs.
- Increase the stakeholders understanding of the companys compound and processes (eg. clinical data IIS clinical trials compliance processes).
- Identify relevant Key Stakeholders and Opinion Leaders in relevant areas manage and maintain positive relationships with them.
- Work closely with HEMAR or GA develop educational items/formats and deliver training for them.
- Work closely with Global Clinical Operations HUB/ESO Medical Affairs as required to and with the relevant Medical Manager.
- Discuss the status of company studies to identify new opportunities for collaboration with Hungarian investigators and sites.
- Assist GCO with the identification of and communication with potential trial sites and investigators for company-sponsored trials.
- Assist line manager with other general medical affairs and medical education projects as appropriate.
Requirements:
- University / bachelors degree or Equivalent in Medical Science (M.D.) Pharmacology
- Graduates with research experience/doctorates preferred
- At least 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry / preferably Medical Affairs/RND or a comparable position
- Native local speaker and fluent English knowledge of both spoken and written
- Field experienced is preferred
- Driving license type B
