Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Service Manager to join our team. As a Electrical Service Manager you will be responsible for overseeing daily service operations managing technicians driving profitability and delivering an exceptional customer experience. Your expertise in industrial and commercial electrical work will be essential in ensuring the safety and functionality of electrical systems.
Duties:
-Manage day-to-day operations of the Service Division including service calls small projects and maintenance work
-Schedule and dispatch service technicians to maximize productivity and response time
-Review and approve service estimates T&M work and pricing
-Own service revenue gross margin labor efficiency and overall performance
-Lead coach and hold service technicians accountable to safety quality and productivity standards
-Ensure accurate job documentation timely invoicing and clean job closeout
-Maintain strong relationships with repeat customers property managers and GCs
-Enforce safety policies and ensure compliance with OSHA and NEC requirements
-Track and report key service KPIs to leadership
Qualifications:
-7 years of commercial electrical experience
-Prior experience managing service technicians or field teams
-Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems and troubleshooting
-Proven ability to manage labor schedules and job profitability
-Excellent communication organization and leadership skills
-Valid drivers license and clean driving record
-Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
Preferred:
-Journeyman or Master Electrician license
-Experience running or growing a service department
-Familiarity with service management or dispatch software
