General Responsibilities
Reporting directly to an Early Care and Education Manager the Early Care and Education Compliance and Quality Assurance Coordinator ensures program compliance assists with managing program databases and supports and coordinates program services.
Salary:
The full range for this position is $57945.17($30.18 per hour) - $70501.87 ($36.72 per hour). Offers are made at the entry level of the range.
Assignment:
This position will work full-time 240 days per year. The position requires a criminal history check and fingerprint check through the Department of Children Youth and Families (DCYF) a health exam and TB test and proof of MMR immunity prior to starting.

Essential Functions/Other Functions
Essential Functions:
- Provide leadership technical assistance training and monitoring of ECE programs to ensure compliance with performance standards regulations policies and procedures contract deliverables and documentation.
- Hire supervise train and evaluate staff.
- Collect enter review and monitor program data and analyze data to support ongoing continuous quality improvement efforts.
- Assist with managing program databases and provide training and technical assistance to staff.
- Assist with compiling monthly program report data annual Self-Assessments Community Assessment Program Information Reports and Annual Reports.
- Coordinate the review of staff qualifications and assist with the development of professional development plans.
- Assist staff in navigating financial aid resources and institutions such as grants educational scholarships and connections to college advisors to support staff with professional development.
- Oversee volunteer and intern training to ensure alignment with state regulations program grant requirements and in an effort to actively recruit program parents and community members through workforce pipelines.
- Facilitate and participate in team meetings.
Other Functions:- Participate as needed in agency and community workgroups or special projects.
- Uphold the Vision Values and Commitments to Professionalism of the ECE department at ESD 112.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum/Preferred Qualifications & Skills
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree and one year of experience in an educational or social service program ORan Associatesdegree and two years of experience in an educational or social service program.
- Experience with data entry and program compliancemonitoring.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and database software.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:- Experience with the use of ChildPlus ELMS MERIT and Procare databases.
- Experience with Excel Graphing Pivot Tables Statistics and program data analysis.
- Experience with Early Head Start ECEAP and child care performance standards.
- Experience supervising staff.
- Some experience navigating higher education systems (community colleges/universities).
- Bilingual.
Working Conditions/Employment Requirements
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:
- Travel throughout ESD service region.
- Physical environment may include office setting child care preschool programs or community work sites.
- Extended and/or flexible hours as necessary.
Employment Requirements:- Successful completion of a portable background check and clearance through the WA State Department of Children Youth and Families.
- Tuberculosis test to meet state health requirements.
- Health Exam.
- Proof of MME vaccination or exemption.
