Job Summary
A highvolume manufacturing facility is seeking a Safety Coordinator to strengthen safety culture reduce risk and ensure compliance with OSHA and internal safety standards. This role partners closely with plant leadership and frontline teams to identify hazards before incidents occur and to drive continuous improvement across the site.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Safety Manager in implementing and maintaining safety programs aligned with federal state and local regulations.
Review and revise existing safety programs; assist with implementing new programs to improve compliance and reduce risk.
Lead incident reporting and investigations including root cause analysis and corrective action tracking.
Deliver monthly safety training and specialized training sessions; evaluate training effectiveness and update materials as needed.
Conduct routine audits and inspections to ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory safety standards.
Partner with operations to review work practices and recommend improvements.
Maintain accurate safety documentation reporting and compliance records.
Work independently in a fastpaced highvolume environment.
Qualifications :
Minimum 2 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment (food manufacturing preferred).
Supervisory experience in a highvolume fastpaced facility.
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification highly preferred.
Bachelors degree in Safety Environmental Health Engineering or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
CPE CSP or CIH certifications are a plus.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and make decisions independently.
Comfortable working in environments with strong smells loud noise heat cold refrigerated areas and freezers.

Exposure to manufacturing areas requiring PPE (safety glasses hearing protection).
Walking standing and light lifting (up to 25 lbs).
