Job Summary
We have a great new opportunity for a Rental Agent to join our friendly but driven team at our Dorchester Depot. Our Vehicle Hire Division hire a range of light commercial vehicles to companies ranging from blue chip corporations and public sector organisations to medium sized enterprises.
As a Rental Agent you will be the key point of contact for our clients and internal colleagues within the Depot. Within the role you will establish and develop new and existing business through building excellent relationships with our customers. This is a customer focused role in which you will provide assistance with queries offer advice support and information and recommend relevant company products. You will also be responsible for completing all related administration and processing bookings. YOUR ROLE AT SIXT
Accurately process bookings rental agreements quotes and all associated paperwork across relevant systems.
Act as the key point of contact for clients providing professional support via phone email reception and face-to-face interactions.
Manage vehicle handovers check-ins yard checks transfers cross-hires and delivery/collection coordination.
Resolve customer queries efficiently recommend appropriate products and liaise with internal departments when required.
Develop and maintain customer relationships follow up on quotes and support business growth.
Carry out general administration while maintaining high service standards and strong knowledge of the fleet and products.
Qualifications :
YOUR SKILLS MATTER
- Experience Significant experience working within a high-volume fast-paced Agent role preferably within the Hire industry
- Adaptability You excel in a dynamic environment and can work under pressure both independently and as part of a team
- Attention to Detail You have a keen eye for detail ensuring accurate completion of all handover paperwork and vehicle inspections
- Communication You have strong communication skills enabling clear and friendly interactions with customers even in busy settings
- Flexibility You are open to work on a shift rotation to cover branch operating hours ensuring continuous service
- Driving License You hold a valid driving license and bring a minimum of 12 months driving experience
