As a Warehouse Manager your main responsibilities will be:
- Plan implement and monitor annual operational plans in line with the companys strategic objectives.
- Develop manage and analyze warehouse operational budgets.
- Support and supervise a team of warehouse supervisors.
- Manage the movement and accuracy of inventory the receipt and storage of goods locate the location of goods sent by each supplier ensure delivery times etc.
- Ensure good communication between staff members as well as with suppliers and customers.
- Observe monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and promote the implementation of continuous improvement projects within the distribution center.
- Write management reports and ensure financial monitoring of operations.
- Ensure strict compliance with health and safety standards.
- Oversee the maintenance and availability of warehouse equipment (e.g. forklifts).
Qualifications :
To join our team you need among other things:
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role in the distribution field.
- Experience in a unionized environment (an asset).
- Diligence in work organization and procedure control.
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management System (WMS) (an asset).
- Bilingualism French and English as you will frequently collaborate with clients across Canada.
