Sandher Fruit Packers is looking to expand their team and add a Finance Manager to their dynamic team. This key role involves maintaining accurate records and financial processes processing payroll managing reconciliations and manage all banking activities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented organized and capable of managing a broad range of responsibilities from invoicing and government remittances to maintaining accurate financial reports.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Generate and distribute monthly and annual financial reports;
- Ensure all financial reports are accurate and support decision making based on financial reports;
- Manage all banking activities;
- Complete month-end reconciliations;
- Enter and manage invoices reimbursable expenses labour costs and other receipts;
- Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable;
- Submit government remittances (PST monthly; GST and WCB quarterly);
- Maintain accurate and compliant record-keeping systems.
Requirements
- 3-5 years experience as a finance manager or equivalent;
- Business Administration degree with a focus on finance and/or C.P.A. preferred;
- Proven leadership and ability to work in a high impact team;
- Strong understanding of finance best practices;
- Experience full cycle accounting monthly and annual reporting and handling government remittances (PST GST WCB);
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite;
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and accuracy;
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision;
- Professional communication skills both written and verbal.
The successful candidate will be a team player and able to collaborate with the broader team. The annual salary for this role is anticipated to be $80000-$115000 depending on experience and qualifications and a comprehensive benefits package will be part of the compensation package.
