What a Manager Client Solutions LAC Social Impact & Sustainability does at Visa:
As a key member of Visas Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) team the Manager Client Solutions will contribute to the development and execution of the regions SIS strategy aligning with Visas 2030 business vision and market-specific priorities. The Manager drives initiatives to leverage social impact and sustainability to deepen client relationships contributing to securing revenue-generating commercial partnerships or reputation-enhancing program partnerships for key clients in key LAC markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy Execution:
- Shape and advance the LAC social impact & sustainability strategy and roadmap to deliver on Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
- Align initiatives with Visas global priorities focusing on:
- Empowering small businesses and entrepreneurs through digital tools knowledge access and security.
- Promoting financial education to foster economic inclusion and development.
- Enhancing digital commerce security for all users.
- Demonstrating Visas long-term commitment to the communities we serve.
Solution Development & Deployment:
- Lead internal go-to-market efforts to raise profile of Visa SIS products and identify new opportunities to creatively leverage these products to drive impact and growth in strategic client relationships in LAC
- Lead regional programmatic and solution deployment with key clients in alignment with market strategies.
- Localization and ongoing development of our client solutions in particular financial education and digital skills platforms
- Manage end-to-end program and solution delivery with key clients and stakeholders with a particular focus on financial education in the LAC region and the Brazil market in partnership with other Visa functions
- Collaborate cross-functionally with country leadership Communications and Government Engagement teams to implement programs.
- Develop compelling narratives that articulate Visas purpose and impact in priority markets.
- Establish feedback loops to share insights and best practices across regions.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong trust-based relationships with key external stakeholders across LAC.
- Enhance Visas reputation and influence with decision-makers through consistent values-driven engagement.
Measurement & Reporting:
- Oversee the tracking and reporting of social and business outcomes in alignment with defined OKRs.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications :
What you will need:
5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
Experience in working in the technology and/or financial services sectors and experience implementing social impact and/or financial inclusion programs preferred as well as government politics communications and/or economic development is a plus.
Strong stakeholder management with the ability to deliver an aligned plan across multiple stakeholders to drive a shared vision
Demonstrated success in emerging markets in building long-term partnerships with leading organizations in the public and civil sectors.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills required in Portuguese and English Spanish is highly desired
Ability to manage competing priorities with a flexible and adaptable approach to support broader market strategic initiatives as needed
Team player with experience working regionally or globally across cultural geographic and time zone boundaries
Creative and resourceful in overcoming barriers and unexpected roadblocks
Excellent understanding of and passion for social Impact & sustainability
Proven ability to think ahead engage proactively and take initiative with ability to influence and enable teams and colleagues across the business and without direct reporting relationships
Ability to work with limited supervision
