- Works collaboratively with the Division Director of Community Psychiatry and the Program Managers to identify quality improvement and patient safety focus and priorities core measures and the Quality Management plan for the ambulatory behavioral health programs.
- Interprets hospital and department policies and procedures standards requirements and regulations of accrediting and regulatory agencies related to behavioral health practices. Assists in the update of quality management and patient safety practices policies and procedures as needed to remain in compliance. Assists in the development of institutional policies for ambulatory behavioral health areas.
- Initiates the review of cases regarding patient care quality and patient safety issues and refers cases to physicians department managers administration and committees for corrective actions.
Qualifications :
- Masters degree in social work nursing clinical psychology or a related discipline is required.
- Maryland State licensure is preferred.
- Five years of progressively responsible clinical experience in mental health care and professional experience performing Quality Management Utilization Management or equivalent experience is required.
