MarCom Excellence Lead
Serve as the ventures Marketing communications expert shaping how we create test and scale campaigns across propositions. You will define the frameworks tools and ways of working that make our communication development cheaper better faster leveraging AI automation modern storytelling techniques and experimental content models.
This role acts as a strategic advisor creative excellence guardian and agency management expert ensuring the work is consumer-centered breakthrough and effective in delivering our marketing objectives.
Your role:
1. MarCom Strategy & Framework Leadership
- Define the communication development framework for the venture including briefing standards creative review processes asset production models.
- Establish a modern marketing playbook that integrates AI agile experimentation and performance-led creative optimization.
- Continuously refine cheaper better faster ways of building campaigns ( e.g. AI asset generation).
2. Creative & Storytelling Expertise
- Act as the creative subject matter expert providing high-impact guidance to Marketing & Proposition Managers on briefs message hierarchy story arcs visual direction and claims expression.
- Evaluate creative concepts and executions at key checkpoints to ensure they are compelling on-brief and aligned to brand and proposition intent.
3. AI-Enabled & Modern Marketing Innovation
- Lead the introduction of AI tools and creative automation (copy testing rapid KV iteration dynamic content generation influencer/UGC augmentation).
- Pilot new consumer engagement approaches e.g. creator collaborations micro-content formats AI-driven personalization.
4. Agency Leadership & Development Model Transformation
- Manage relationships with creative production and content agencies ensuring speed quality and cost efficiency.
- Introduce alternative production models (e.g. AI production creator-driven content low-cost pilots).
- Hold agencies accountable for flexible iterative test-and-learn ways of working.
5. Creative Governance & Brand Stewardship
- Own the creative guardrails for the venture ensuring quality and effectiveness of the campaign including brand consistency & compliance.
6. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Guidance
- Advise the Marketing & Proposition Managers on campaign development helping them sharpen briefs elevate creative quality and optimize storytelling.
- Partner with Marketing & Proposition Managers to ensure assets are optimized for digital retail and e-commerce environments.
- Work with Insight team on creative testing insights and data-driven creative evolution.
Youre the right fit if:
- Youve acquired 12 years of experience in in marketing communications advertising creative strategy or integrated brand management. You have a demonstrated ability to act as a creative and communication advisor to brand product and proposition teams.
- Your skills include:
- Expert in brand storytelling creative direction message architecture and communication frameworks.
- Strong portfolio of experience guiding agencies and elevating creative quality.
- Deep understanding of modern content models (UGC social-first modular content).
- Hands-on experience with AI-enabled creative tools (text image video generation).
- Experience with agile content creation iterative testing and dynamic optimization.
- Skilled at influencing without authority able to coach teams and raise the level of marketing craft.
- Strong ability to establish new operating models and drive adoption across teams.
- You have a Bachelors or Masters degree in Marketing Communications Advertising or related field.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the companys facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the companys main facilities generally at the customers or suppliers locations.
