The Paralegal roleresideswithin theLegal Services department.
APRA AMCOSLegalServicesprovides legal advice andassistanceon a range of matters pertinent to APRA AMCOS including in respect of both general legal matters and commercial or business matters such as in respect of APRA AMCOS andOneMusiclicensing needs.
The role supports the work of Legal Services by driving and coordinating the progression of matters tofacilitatetheir resolution.
The role is based in our Ultimooffice which isonGadigal land.
As aParalegal your responsibilities will include:
- Undertaking any administrative or operational tasks and ad-hoctasks for the Senior Lawyer & Manager and Legal Services department in generalas directed.
- Assistingwith the progress of legal matters including copyright infringement mattersby reviewing documentationparticipatingin meetings and any other tasks as directed.

- Understanding of basic legal and dispute resolution principles.
- Demonstrated ability to review and draft documentation and correspondence in a legal environment.
- Demonstrated analytical and research skills.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- High Level writing and grammatical skills.
- Intermediate MS office skills particularly Word and Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail.
