Located in the Phoenix Ariz. suburb of Chandler the Chandler Regional Medical Center is a 429-bed not-for-profit hospital with more than 2600 team members and almost 1000 doctors on staff representing all major specialties. Chandler Regional joined the Dignity Health system in 1999 but has been part of the community for more than 50 years. The hospital includes a Level I Trauma Center a Heart and Vascular Center a Wound Healing Center a Family Birth Center and many additional services. Dignity Health Chandler Regional Mercy Gilbert and Arizona General Hospital Mesa awarded $422000 in grants to support five community projects led by 15 local organizations. Since 1991 Dignity Healths Community Health Improvement Grants program has provided $91 million to nearly 3800 health projects focusing on vulnerable and underserved populations.
Job Summary and Responsibilities
As a Nurse Resident or New Grad RN youll make the transition from practicing procedures as a student to becoming a professional nurse. Youll build trust with your clinical preceptor and patients as you practice classroom concepts in real-time. Our residency program establishes your position as a reliable resource and helpful supporter of patients and families.

- Youre in patient rooms quickly rotating between immediate needs and check-ins to provide patient care while being monitored by your preceptor
- Open to learning more about the business and operational practices in our facility
- Develop patient advocate skills through observance and practice
- Build your nursing skills as you learn to put your education into practice with actual patients

Job Requirements
Minimum
- Completion of board approved nursing program.
AZ or Compact RN License-you must have a current RN license the week prior to program start date
Current Healthcare Provider AHA BLS completion card.
Preferred
BSN program completion preferred.
