Data Engineer Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and develop data pipelines to collect and process large amounts of data
- Implement data integrations and transformations to support data analytics and reporting
- Build and maintain data systems and databases
- Optimize data processes for performance and scalability
- Work closely with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements
- Troubleshoot data issues and ensure data quality and integrity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data initiatives
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role
- Strong programming skills in languages like Python Java or SQL
- Experience with data modeling ETL processes and data warehousing
- Knowledge of big data technologies such as Hadoop Spark or Kafka
Desired Experience:
- 2 years of experience in data engineering
- Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS Azure or G
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Certifications in data engineering or related fields
Salary & Benefits:
