The Opportunity
As a Legal Secretary for our boutique Consumer Class Action Department you will have the opportunity to advocate for consumers interests in California and across the nation in often ground-breaking and newsworthy cases.
Accountable for
- Support our attorneys and paralegals in all phases of litigation
- Maintain organized case files
- Manage and calendar court deadlines
- Professionally communicate with clients experts courts and defense counsel
- Prioritize and complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain strict confidentiality
- Collaborate with team members
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience
- Excellent organizational skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to act both independently and in a team environment
- Knowledge Microsoft Office suite
- Type at least 40 WPM
- Confident in a paperless work environment
- $26 -$32depending on experience
