The candidate will work closely with the fleet performance experts and will assist in monitoring and managing regulatory and commercial Emissions compliance from the fleet. Along with it you will be responsible for delivering fact-based analysis for vessel and fleet performance using the vessel performance platform as well as optimised solutions to improve commercial operations.
Requirements
- Marine Engineer or Navigating officer with a minimum of 1 year of sailing experience.
- Prior experience as an Emission Analyst or a similar role with no sailing experience will also be considered.
- Critical thinking and analytical skills along with understanding and proficiency in analytical tools.
- Good problem-solving skills and experience working in ML/AI solutions with Python/R.
- Strong written and oral communication skills with effective time management skills and self-motivation.
- The candidate should be able to work independently on individual projects but also feel comfortable collaborating and communicating across the Geo Serve Teams and other functions
Responsibilities
- Evaluate fuel performance data to reduce fuel consumption onboard vessels and conduct root cause analysis for variance in fuel consumption if reported or beginning to trend.
- A clear understanding of various National and International regulations related to GHG emissions.
- Responsible for day-to-day predictions voyage simulations and periodical Reporting of Fleet voyage Emissions performance.
- Analyze and deliver data in a structured format that directly links to the work process on the commercial and technical front line and financial bottom line.
- Be responsible for data structures and data flow related to fleet performance & Emissions in collaboration with our business intelligence team/ digital team with end-to-end responsibility.
- Create full transparency on the Emission performance of the fleet towards internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop KPIs to study and benchmark the vessels under various heads: CII EEOI EU ETS etc.
- Assisting the Emissions Team in voyage-wise timely ETS Emissions Reports formulation and ETS EUA calculations for the Fleet.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
- Explain technical insights to technical/ non-technical groups and collaborate cross-functionally across time zones.
- Automate manual data processes and ensure continuous process improvement while working within the team to support the development of the next-generation application/user platform.
- Work with multiple stakeholders in complex situations and take ownership and a keen interest in setting direction and bringing results enjoy working in an ever-growing result-oriented environment.
