Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior WordPress Architect / Team Lead Developer with 15 years of hands-on and leadership experience in WordPress PHP MySQL and Software development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for architecting designing and leading the development of large-scale high-performance WordPress and eCommerce solutions. This role requires strong technical leadership system design expertise and the ability to mentor teams while ensuring best practices in security scalability and performance.

Key Responsibilities :

WordPress Architecture & Development

• Architect design and oversee the development of enterprise-grade WordPress solutions.
  

• Lead the development of custom WordPress themes plugins and core customizations.
  

• Define coding standards best practices and architectural guidelines for WordPress projects.
  

• Ensure responsive cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
  

• Review and optimize existing WordPress implementations for performance and scalability.
  

• Oversee testing deployment and maintenance of WordPress applications.
  

PHP Development & Backend Engineering

• Design and develop robust secure and scalable PHP-based solutions.
  

• Lead complex customizations and integrations within WordPress using PHP.
  

• Guide backend architecture decisions and collaborate on API integrations.
  

• Conduct code reviews and ensure clean maintainable and reusable code.
  

MySQL Database Architecture & Management

• Design and manage highly optimized MySQL database schemas.
  

• Optimize complex queries for performance and scalability.
  

• Oversee database migrations backups recovery and version upgrades.
  

• Ensure data security integrity and compliance with best practices.
  

• Work on performance tuning for high-traffic websites and applications.
  

E-Commerce & WooCommerce (Preferred)

• Architect and manage WooCommerce-based and custom eCommerce solutions.
  

• Handle complex pricing rules payment gateways shipping integrations and third-party APIs.
  

• Ensure performance security and scalability for high-volume transactions.
  

Performance Security & Optimization

• Implement advanced performance optimization techniques (caching CDN query optimization).
  

• Ensure compliance with WordPress PHP and MySQL security standards.
  

• Implement SEO-friendly architecture and best development practices.
  

• Stay updated with the latest vulnerabilities patches and platform updates.
  

Leadership & Collaboration

• Lead and mentor a team of developers providing technical guidance and reviews.
  

• Collaborate with UI/UX designers project managers and stakeholders.
  

• Participate in requirement analysis technical estimations and solution planning.
  

• Act as a technical point of contact for complex projects and client discussions.
  

Required Skills & Expertise

• 15 years of experience in WordPress PHP and MySQL.
  

• Strong experience in custom plugin and E-Commerce development.
  

• Deep understanding of WordPress E-Commerce REST API Software Development and architecture.
  

• Expertise in performance tuning security hardening and scalability.
  

• Experience in handling large-scale high-traffic websites.
  

• Strong problem-solving communication and leadership skills.
