On-time delivery of equipment is a crucial customer satisfaction element of a Gas Power Plant this role you will serve as the operations leader for the MSD Fulfillment team tasked with supporting on-time delivery and continuous improvement activities for key project equipment in support of project execution requirements. The role will be an enabling function to directly support Fulfillment Leader process needs and other stakeholders with the goal of delivering high quality equipment on time for our customers

Job Description

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • Provide operational support directly to the MSD Fulfillment team ensuring correct overall linkage between ERPs schedules logistics and project needs
  • Partner w/ Projects teams and FL Team Leaders to ensure OTD Tracker weekly comments/ updates and V2V cycles are accurate and updated routinely
  • Own Top MSD Systemic Fulfillment risks file and ensure stakeholders well communicated to each week
  • Provide leadership and support for Project specific requests that are non-standard in nature and drive alternative approaches to achieve desired outcomes
  • Drive neighboring functions to ensure accurate RTS Required dates at time of PO placement
  • Monitor aging V2V skid track updates and partner w/ FLs to ensure accuracy by eliminating churn and erroneous risk
  • Own Late promise date moves metrics and other KPIs. Work with teams to drive improvements
  • Lead V2V Operations call each week and ensure stakeholders and clear on needs
  • Partner with Logistics Ops to drive operational excellence in various areas e.g. V2V Operations GESAT Ops Aging Pickups
  • Develop standard work for Code Compliance hold removals and lean out where appropriate

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Minimum of 5 years Sourcing Projects Lean or Supply Chain or operational Management experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal / facilitation skills

Desired

  • Recent experience working in the Gas Power Systems MSD/BOP/HRSG sourcing or projects teams
  • Bachelors Degree in a Technical or Business discipline
  • 5 years of experience for Power Generation products;
  • High motivation and influencing skills
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Ability to influence global suppliers and team members
  • Proactive self-starter
  • Change agent
  • Strong process mindset
  • Experience with commercial contracts
  • GE Program Graduate
  • MS / MBA Degree

Additional Information

Relocation Assistance Provided: No

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position the pay range for this position is between $108800.00 and $181300.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110% 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidates experience education and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
