The position
As the Institutional and Rare Diseases Medical Manager you will:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive medical strategy for our Rare Disease portfolio (hematology) as well as adapt the medical strategy of our cardiometabolic portfolio in the private market to drive innovation in the Chilean Public Health Care System.
- Serve as scientific expert and liaison for the Cardiometabolic and Rare Diseases portfolios
- Build and manage strategic relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) government payers and patient organizations.
- Drive the integration and access of novel therapies within public health institutions (e.g. Ministerio de Salud/Instituciones Públicas).
- Generate and communicate actionable medical insights that bridge scientific evidence with commercial and access strategies.
- Ensure strict adherence to local compliance pharmacovigilance and quality requirements.
- Provide high-level scientific training and support to internal teams (Market Access Sales) on therapeutic areas.
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:
Need to have:
- Mandatory Medical Degree (Títuloprofesionalde Médico) from arecognised institution.
- Minimum 5 years of experience inthepharmaceuticalIndustry inMedical Affairs (MSL or Medical Manager level).
- Advanced level of English sufficient for reporting and communication with regional/global teams.
- Proven experience in developing and executing medicalstrategies for the Public Sector/Institutional Access.
- Strong knowledge of the Chilean public health system (Ministeriode Salud/InstitucionesPúblicas).
- Excellent leadershipscientificcommunication andstrategic planning and executionskills.
Nice to have:
- Clinical or industry experience in Diabetes Obesity or Rare Diseases (Hematology).
- Prior work experience in the Chilean Public Sector.

You will join the Medical Affairs team at Novo Nordisk in Chile. Our team is dedicated toestablishingand executing scientific communication strategies and driving related communication plansto external stakeholders to drive understanding of the value proposition of innovativetreatments in Rare Diseases and Cardiometabolic diseases. We work closely with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) integrate the patient voiceasappropriateandencouragegeneration and publicationof local dynamic and collaborative environment fosters innovation and teamwork ensuring that we deliver impactful solutions to improve patient outcomes in the fields of cardiometabolic and rare diseases.
