RWE is building Denmarks largest offshore wind farm. Thor offshore wind farm will be built 22 kilometres off the coast of Thorsminde on the west coast of Jutland with a capacity of more than 1 GW. 72 units of SGRE flagship SG 14-236 DD wind turbines generators (WTGs) are planned to be installed. Once fully operational in 2027 Thor will produce green electricity to more than 1 million Danish households.
The role:
Your main responsibilities will be service maintenance and troubleshooting on the 72 offshore direct drive wind turbines complemented by occasional maintenance and troubleshooting on the electrical offshore substation and the electrical land station.
You will have the daily responsibility for the safety within your area and will support to shape an incident free culture.
During the construction phase youll be a part of the commissioning team and work closely together with our project colleagues and partners e.g. SGRE in commissioning and taking over the WTGs.
When construction is finalized you will be a part of the operation team with close collaboration with the senior maintenance coordinator and the wider operations team. Your working location will be Thorsminde and the shift rotation is planned for 1 week on/off with accommodation facilities provided if required.
