JOB PURPOSE :

This is a role ensuring the support and maintenance of File and print services. You will be an integral part of the Operational Service team who manage all workplace services.

You will be responsible for support filers in LDR Central DC and VMs external HDD data access provisioning and granting access and governing access to filers in ALSTOM environment. Further data movement and consolidation from LDR DC to some other technologies like SharePoint OneDrive and make it work on all agreed catalogue infra of ALSTOM. Ensuring functional requirements for Print services are met and supporting print services working closely with Enterprise Architect Vendors and service providers; build processes and policies and maintain them as per changing environment and requirements based on latest tools and technologies decided by ALSTOM EA. You will also be responsible for identifying areas needed for improvement and implement improvement plans. You will work closely with key technology suppliers and vendors and with other support teams like Service Desk Local support Network Team AD team Application teams.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

Familiar and has working knowledge on Windows server Filer and Print services and print services tools like Printer Installer Equitrac etc.
Has working experience in file access management tools windows utilities and understanding of Share point portal and SNOW and Filer data and filer access and data management.
Familiar and has working knowledge with OS components GPO Application common problems OS issues and corresponding best practices for deployment of scripts policies and application provisioning that might impact filer and printer services.
Familiar and has working experience with windows toolset for extracting SID information making relationship with AD SID filer and Active directory and Filer group management.
Has working knowledge on SNOW or similar ITSM tools.
Working knowledge on resolving issues on Compliance and Audit related issues in access management.
Able to understand and co-relate filer printer issues with Port network IP SID device settings OS components and should be able to guide team to resolve issues.
Able to work closely with networking team Data center Operations on need basis in working LDR filer issues.
Has fair understanding and working knowledge of group creation and tracking issues related to Services.
Has working experience in tracking and closing all escalated and transferred tickets from all other groups.
working closely with end users to understand and ask right questions to resolve issues related OS SOE Applications Network connectivity GPO etc.
Troubleshoot proactively issues related LDR DC file print servers working along with Local hands and feet support Central teams and vendors for escalated issues.
Good communication and convincing skills to work with business.
Drive partners to deliver based on agreed KPI and SLAs.
Suggest improvements and optimization on area of expertise.

PROFILE :

To be considered for this role candidate need to demonstrate the following skills experience and attributes:

Graduated with a Bachelors degree in Engineering Science or Technology should have at least 7-10 years experience in IT with majority of it in with majority of it in Windows server DC Ops basics LDR filer and print services. Hands-on experience with related domain is an added advantage and preferred.
Should have good communication and vendor management skills to interact with business across the globe.
Fluent in English you are eager to work with autonomy in an international environment and to face the challenges of the new Alstom.
Experience in ITIL processes and framework.
Ability to collaborate influence and motivate cross-functional teams.
Team player.
Ability and flexibility to adapt to change including shifting and competing priorities.
Demonstrated competency collaborative work with strong abilities in relationship management.
