SAP Specialist, Carlsberg Danmark Supply Chain

Become part of Carlsbergs Elevate Project and help ensure the data quality behind our move to SAP S/4HANA. In this fixedterm role youll work across teams to build the foundation for a successful migration.

The Job

As our new SAP Specialist you will be part of the Strategic Plant Maintenance team and work closely with colleagues across Maintenance Purchasing Warehouse Operations and the Spare Parts function. This is a fixedterm position running until 31 December 2026 supporting the Elevate ProjectCarlsbergs transition from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANAby ensuring highquality accurate and standardized material master data.

You will report to the Strategic Plant Maintenance Lead and take responsibility for reviewing cleansing validating and preparing data for migration. The role offers a mix of analytical tasks in SAP and Excel as well as some onsite support activities together with the Spare Parts team.

Your Responsibilities

In this role you will work with both data and operational stakeholders to secure a smooth and successful migration.

Your main tasks include:

• Data Analysis & Deduplication
  • Review and compare material master data to identify duplicates and inconsistencies.
  • Standardize material descriptions units of measure and key attributes.
  • Document recommended corrections and merge actions according to established rules.
  • Collaborate with Maintenance Purchasing and Warehouse teams to validate decisions.

• Data Validation & Cleansing
  • Verify completeness and accuracy of MM and PM material master records.
  • Ensure alignment with global naming conventions and standards.
  • Support creation and update of clean datasets for S/4HANA migration.
  • Review and update BOMs Task Lists and technical objects related to materials.

• Physical Support (as needed)
  • Assist the Spare Parts team with relabelling physical verification and stock adjustments.
  • Ensure precise alignment between physical inventory and digital SAP records.

• Reporting & Documentation
  • Track progress on items reviewed corrected and validated.
  • Prepare project status updates and summaries.
  • Support documentation of processes and deduplication decisions.

Your Qualifications
We imagine you bring a technical background as a technician or engineer ideally supported by experience from production or maintenance environments. You enjoy working analytically with data and are motivated by contributing to a large transformation project where accuracy and structure matter.

To thrive in this role you need to be proficient in SAP and Excel engaging with various departments and managing your individual tasks effectively.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has extensive experience with SAP MM and SAP PM including handling material master data BOMs Task Lists and technical objects.
• Is proficient in Excel including filters pivot tables and comparison formulas such as VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.
• Works in a structured and analytical way with high attention to detail.
• Takes ownership and follows tasks through to completion.
• Collaborates well with different stakeholders and communicates clearly.
• Brings experience from production or maintenance environments.
• Has experience with data cleansing or migration activities.
• Has knowledge of spare parts or MRO materials.
• Is comfortable communicating in English both verbally and in writing.
