As the Operations Coordinator you will serve as the primary on-site operational lead ensuring the safe efficient and reliable operation of camp facilities grounds equipment vehicles and boats. This is an active vacancy not a future hiring pool and the successful candidate will make an immediate and meaningful impact by supporting daily camp operations emergency response and infrastructure readinesshelping ensure Camp Stephens remains a place where individuals and communities continue to Shine On.

HOW youll create Moments that Matter:

You will coordinate and oversee daily camp operations including facilities grounds equipment vehicles boats and logistics ensuring safety efficiency and compliance with operational standards. You will provide day-to-day direction and coaching to operations staff and volunteers support pre-season setup and in-season readiness and act as an on-site lead during incidents and emergencies. You will also manage operational records inspections compliance documentation and end-of-season reporting to support risk management asset care and long-term sustainability.

Youll bring:

  • Experience in operations facilities maintenance or camp/site coordination with the ability to lead teams in a dynamic remote environment.
  • Strong organizational communication and problem-solving skills including the ability to respond calmly and effectively during emergencies.
  • A demonstrated commitment to safety inclusion and operational excellence aligned with the Ys mission and values.
  • Required Certifications: Standard First Aid with CPR-C Pleasure Craft Operator Card Canadian Camping Association Marine Module (CCA)Small Water Systems Valid Manitoba Class 5F Drivers License
