Carlsberg Britvic is the largest multi-beverage supplier in the UK and is home to some of the most iconic and popular beers & soft drinks including Carlsberg Danish Pilsner 1664 Poretti and Brooklyn to ale favourites such as Hobgoblin and Wainwright. For soft drinks Carlsberg Britvics brands include J2O Robinsons Tango and London Essence along with the licence rights to the Pepsi portfolio in the UK including Pepsi MAX 7UP Lipton Ice Tea and Rockstar Energy.

With a strong national footprint the Carlsberg Britvic business includes 6 production facilities and 16 logistics depots servicing customers up and down the UK. Reporting to the Shift Manager this role will play a key part of our success journey and you will have the opportunity to be involved in the following:

Key Accountabilities:

• To support the PTM in effectively Leading and coaching a team to deliver the people service quality and cost
• targets within the relevant department. To provide SIC (site incident controller) cover across site ensuring ERT (Emergency response team) is in place each shift and team has correct skills to deploy effectively.
• Align all functions in end to end supply chain regarding operational planning and priorities.
• Drive conformance to standard speeds ensure V-curve STD are regularly reviewed and highlight potential for additional gain through involvement in Chrono-analysis.
• Act as deputy for Process Team Manager as required unable to arrange annual leave during the same period of the PTM.
• Act as a single point of contact for issues on the shift and take decisions around process and resource allocation including resource planning to ensure adherence to plan.

Experience and Key Attributes required:

• Experience of working in a fast-moving production environment
• General Certificate in Brewing or working towards the qualification
• IT literacy (QC/SPC Word Excel)
• Have knowledge of the relevant Health Safety & Environmental considerations
• Understanding of right first time principles
