Morgan Stanley Wealth Management (MSWM) Technology is the global technology department responsible for the design development delivery and support of the technical solutions behind the products and services used by the Morgan Stanley Wealth Management (MSWM) business. The department is comprised of 10 organizations: Sales Banking & Corporate-Client Technology Investment Products & Markets Technology Client Reporting Core Processing Private and International Wealth Management Technology Technology Integration Office Enterprise Infrastructure & Production Management Capital Markets Application & Data Services Deployment Planning & Release Management and the Chief Operating Officer.

Position Description


We are looking for senior frontend React Developer to help us build a scalable reliable secure and resilient enterprise platform on a global scale. Job Functions/Duties and Responsibilities:


* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product owners developers and QA engineers.

* Engage in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning and retrospectives.

* Partner with Systems Architects Software Team Leads and other Software Developers to design develop and deploy technical solutions.

* Analyze complex information design develop and troubleshoot database applications.

* Review functional requirements and prepare and document technical program subsystem and system designs and solutions along with associated project task descriptions and effort estimates.

* Utilize both industry standards and the companys existing systems architecture design techniques and development standards ensuring compliance with industry and company standards.

* Document technical requirements program and subsystem designs project task descriptions effort estimates and unit and integration tests.

* Execute new development maintenance fixes and enhancements to meet business requirements.

* Assist other teams in troubleshooting application issues in production quality assurance and other environments.

* Develop review refine use and document plans for both automated and manual unit and integration tests ensuring successful completion prior to production.

* Test programs for integration prior to production.

* Mentor other software developers and IT staff members. Skills Required:


* Bachelors degree (preferably in Computer Science or a related discipline) or equivalent experience.

* Minimum of 7 years experience.

* Highly self-motivated with the ability to complete tasks with minimal guidance and learn independently.

* Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

* Superior English verbal and written communication skills.

* Exceptional teamwork and collaboration skills in working with a cross-functional team comprised of Product Analysts QA UAT Development and PMO members.

* Ability to manage tasks and priorities to meet rapidly changing deadlines.

* Must collaborate with System Architects and other technical stakeholders to review/approve program and subsystem designs.

* Proficiency in React TypeScript JavaScript HTML CSS (Bootstrap/Tailwind) and responsive design.

* Strong knowledge in Data Structures & Algorithms API/API Design.

* Knowledge of relational database principles using Structured Query Language (SQL).

* Proficiency in UNIX/Linux and Microsoft Windows distributed computing.

* Experience with any Frontend IDE like Visual Studio Code IDEA.

* Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

* Extensive experience in creating dynamic responsive pages using React.

* Experience in creating test cases using vitest.

* Beneficial to have experience in Java Spring framework Vite frontend building tool.

* Exposure to AI tools like GitHub Copilot or any other equivalent tools.
