Job Description
At Teledyne Gas Measurement Instruments we are on a lookout for an Assistant Management Accountant to be based at our Renfrew site. This role is ideal for someone eager to apply their relevant qualifications to a new role and / or someone with demonstrable Accounts Assistant experience looking for their next challenge.
What youll do:
Supporting four sites: Arras (France) Renfrew (Scotland) Heidelberg (Germany) and Norway you will;
Actively participate in the companys monthly closing procedures reporting to the Teledyne group and the reconciliation of monthly and quarterly balance sheet accounts
Support the management committee and various departments with management control analyses
Monthly reporting to the group via Onestream ensuring adherence to quality and deadline requirements for all four entities
Reconcile intercompany positions
Reconcile balance sheet accounts for all entities on a monthly basis
Participate in monthly accounting closings (reconcile sales analyse provisions invoices to be issued accrued expenses recording various transactions)
Calculate variable elements (bonuses etc.)
Management reporting for the executive committee
Assist tax and legal filings (VAT)
Assist both internal and external audits
General finance support (management of shared mail boxes / adhoc queries)
What were looking for:
Accounting training (NC / HNC or qualified by demonstrable relevant account/finance assistant experience)
Analytical and summarizing skills
Understanding of foreign environments (German English American standards (preferred but training can be provided)
Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise
Good interpersonal skills
Ability to adapt to changing priorities
Fluency in English additional languages are a bonus
