Your mission

  • In this role you take on the strategic and operational overall responsibility for our business operations. You actively design efficient scalable and cost-optimized processes and ensure their continuous improvement. Disciplinary leadership of the Bid and Projects teams as well as targeted development of your employees are also key responsibilities.
  • You lead and further develop the entire bid and project portfolio of the Training & Simulation Switzerland business area and report directly to the division management
  • You are responsible for the disciplinary leadership of the Bids & Projects department and the functional management of the B&P managers
  • You ensure reliable project planning and control including deviation management regular project reviews as well as comprehensive risk and opportunity analyses
  • You are responsible for bid calculations effort and cost estimates and the consistent application and tailoring of internal rules and guidelines
  • You continuously optimize processes in bid and project management and strengthen the exchange within the Thales Switzerland B&P network
  • You work closely with product management and both internal and external interfaces to successfully implement product strategies and ensure smooth information flow
  • You manage resources efficiently develop employees and ensure customer satisfaction by achieving all defined milestones in bids and projects

What we are looking forward to

  • Successfully completed studies in business administration or a comparable field
  • Several years of experience in bid and project management
  • Leadership experiene and strong technical understandind
  • Excellent German and English skills
  • IPMA certification
  • Comprehensive product customer and market knowledge in the defense and simulation sector
  • Strong social skills and pronounced process and customer orientation
  • Motivation confident appearance and high reliability
