Retail Environment Manager is responsible for leading the 7P strategy & Omnidemand generation for Hyper and Large Supers. It is desirable to have experience in Sales Trade Marketing and/or Marketing. This position has great interaction with Consumer Marketing Customer Development (Sales) Demand Planning RCD RGM ISM Division E-Commerce team and Customers.

7PS STRATEGIES AND TACTICS PER RETAIL ENVIRONMENT

  • Understand and keep up to date the mission and buying behavior of shoppers who attend their retail environment.
  • Develop and update whenever necessary the strategies of your retail environment based on shopper insights experience of the trade and RE data.
  • Develop omnichannel strategy for all categories of Colgate-Palmolive: assortment innovation price POP material visibility planogram promotions campaigns e-Commerce and CRM
  • Ensure execution and tracking of the plans/strategies working closely to sales and merchandising teams
  • Leading innovations with the objective of generating category growth in the retail environment
  • Ensure closely JVP follow-ups within top Customers


COLGATE PERFORMANCE IN THE RETAIL ENVIRONMENT

  • Establish objectives KPIs and effective tracking for all categories in the retail environment ensuring that the results monitoring mechanisms are correct and well used
  • Anticipate and respond proactively to the movements and tactics of the competition in the RE including activities while doing benchmarks with the CPs performance.
  • Analyze the performance of the activities carried out with: sell-in sell-out market share and return on investment (ROI) considering all types of commercial investments.
  • Coordinate the planning and execution of the activities for the retail environment and communication of the respective activity plans for sales and merchandising teams within the deadlines required by the clients to support the execution;
  • Optimize trade marketing investments within the retail environment by defining customer region category and brand priorities according to CPs strategic directions ensuring the correct allocation of resources.

Responsibilities

  • Implement 7Ps strategies for each category and activities plan for the Retail Environment
  • Ensure the execution of the Retail Marketing plans to achieve the Goals
  • Close interaction with different areas to ensure the best plan for the RE whereas keep eyes on the current activities to understand its performance in accordance with the strategy and goals.
  • Guarantee tracking of all Activities/Plans providing feedback of results at RE Meetings monthly;
  • Bring field insights to improve established plans from Retail Marketing;
  • Secure that all RE investments are supporting the strategy;
  • Track and Monitoring GTN;
  • Track and Monitoring implementation of 7Ps and activities;
  • Close tracking of all KPIs regarding performance by Category/Plan/Region;

What you need for this Position:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Intermediate English
  • Experience in consumer goods companies
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office/Google Suite

Additional Knowledge /Experience is a plus:

  • Experience with supermarkets is desired
  • Experience in Business Planning and Execution
  • Investment management and trade marketing budget control
  • Research Analysis Tools (Nielsen / IMS / GFK / Kantar / Scanntech)
